Lovely hotel in Gentofte, 20 minutes north of Copenhagen city centre
Gentofte is about 20 minutes NW of Copenhagen Central station, served by Lines A and E. Very easy to get to and it's very quiet as it's out of the city. Room size was really good. Kettle provided for tea, coffee etc Everything was clean and fresh. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Furniture ie chairs, desk very good quality. Room was very quiet, didn't notice any external noise.
The pillows were way too soft, would prefer firmer pillows that support your head. Even using two pillows didn't really help. Not a huge deal in the scheme of things. No mini fridge. This would help to keep milk or food if you're staying for a few days. Again not a big issue bit just to let people know.

What was the highlight of Gentofte Hotel
If you want to stay in Gentoft, or even for a visit to Lyngby, this is a good choice.
The location was perfect for my business trip. It's a quiet and very pleasant town and the hotel adds to it being very relaxing. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient both when I arrived and when I left.
The lack of an evening restaurant was an unpleasant surprise, particularly as the catering facilities in the town could be charitably described as 'limited'.
